Legal Administrator
De Rossi Griffiths – Carmarthen
Part-time – 24 hours per week
De Rossi Griffiths is looking for an organised, confident and reliable Legal Administrator to join our busy Carmarthen office.
This is a varied role providing administrative support across the firm, with a particular focus on keeping files organised, progressing routine administrative tasks and ensuring Clients receive a friendly and professional service.
The Role
Duties will include:
- Opening and maintaining Client files
- Carrying out Client identification
- Preparing Client care documentation and routine correspondence
- Managing incoming and outgoing post and emails
- Answering telephone calls and dealing with Client enquiries
- Booking appointments and maintaining diaries
- Scanning, filing and organising documents
- Preparing documents and correspondence from templates
- Updating electronic and paper files
- Assisting with invoices and general file administration
- Liaising with Clients and third parties where required
- Providing general administrative support to the team
- Helping to ensure files and office systems are kept organised and up to date
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Previous experience working in a Client-facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage and prioritise their workload
- Confidence dealing with Clients by telephone, email and in person
- A professional approach when handling confidential information
- The ability to work effectively as part of a small team
Welsh language skills are preferred but are not essential.
Previous legal experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.
We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn.
Hours
11am-17:00, Monday to Thursday, £18,500.00 per annum
