About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, providing technical support to users, and ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to end-users
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Support Microsoft 365, email systems, and cloud services
- Monitor system performance and ensure security best practices
- Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and deployments
- Maintain documentation of systems and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in an IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Active Directory and user management
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a driving licence
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles
- Exposure to virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft)
