Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Administration Assistant to support our team with a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior office experience, strong computer skills, and excellent organisational abilities. Duties
- Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
- Maintain and update records through accurate data entry and filing systems
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documentation using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Process invoices and manage financial records using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Support team members with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and organising documents
- Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-organised at all times
- Assist with other ad hoc administrative duties as required to support daily operations
Skills
- Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
- Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
- Experience with data entry and maintaining organised filing systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good typing speed for efficient document preparation and data entry tasks
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
- Clerical experience demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken
