Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide high-quality support to individuals in a home care setting. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of those in their care. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support clients in adhering to individualised care plans tailored to their specific needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in condition
- Assist with medication management as per prescribed instructions
- Support clients with light domestic tasks, including meal preparation and light cleaning
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure coordinated support
- Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring their safety and comfort
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of clients
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues

Pay: £14.00-£14.25 per hour
