Hours:
- Monday to Friday — hybrid working
The role of Assistant Merchandiser:
- Collaborating with the merchandising team to ensure stock levels meet customer demand and sales targets
- Analysing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for maximising revenue
- Assisting in planning and forecasting stock requirements for upcoming seasons and promotions
- Monitoring stock performance and optimising inventory levels
- Supporting the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Co-ordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Working closely with the buying team to maintain a cohesive product range
The ideal Assistant Merchandiser:
- Experience or education in retail, merchandising, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers
- Proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced retail environment
