GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the hotel complex including guest rooms,staff offices, plant and boiler rooms and associated building spaces
- Plumbing maintenance and repairs
- General upkeep of the Hotel and associated buildings and fabric across occupied buildings, light gardening and the keeping the grounds tidy.
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
- Perform other maintenance duties as requested
- Decorating duties and light refurbishments within the hotel
- Able to attend out of hours
Grounds maintenance/ Gardening Duties
- General gardening duties to maintain the overall condition to a high standard covering the hotel grounds including, car park, gardens, driveway, cottage area and terrace area
