Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional environment. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of clinical rooms, offices, reception areas, washrooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches etc
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning duties
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning in a clinical area is advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently independently
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable with good time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours
Pay: £12.21-£17.72 per hour
