About Us
Return 2 Work Training is an established training provider delivering high-quality employability and vocational training programmes, including Sector-based Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs) in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our network of experienced Freelance SIA Trainers/Assessors to deliver Security Industry Authority (SIA) qualifications across the UK.
The Role
We are seeking motivated, professional and engaging trainers to deliver SIA training programmes, assess learners against qualification standards and support them throughout their learning journey.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant training while creating a positive and engaging learning environment that helps learners achieve their qualifications and progress into employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver SIA Door Supervisor and/or Security Guarding, CCTV, Close Protection qualifications in line with awarding organisation requirements.
- Assess learner competence through practical observations, knowledge assessments and portfolio evidence where applicable.
- Conduct or invigilate assessments in accordance with awarding organisation and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate learner documentation and assessment records.
- Ensure all training is delivered in line with SIA specifications, quality assurance requirements and company policies.
- Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that supports learner achievement.
- Promote high standards of health, safety and safeguarding throughout delivery.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised teaching qualification (Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent).
- Assessor qualification
- Current occupational competency within the private security industry.
- Appropriate trainer qualification(s) required to deliver SIA qualifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and online learning platforms.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
- First Aid qualification
Desirable
- Experience delivering DWP-funded or employability programmes.
- IQA qualification.
- Experience delivering First Aid training
