A wonderful family-run private boarding school nestled in the Surrey Hills is looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join its friendly catering team.
Week day Kitchen Porter role.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 7.00pm
Contract: 40 weeks per year
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Weekend Kitchen Porter role.
Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 10.00am – 7.00pm
Contract: 40 weeks per year
Salary: £13.50 per hour
The successful candidates will support the smooth running of the kitchen operation and help maintain the high standards expected within a busy boarding school environment.
Duties will include:
- Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Keeping kitchen and wash-up areas clean and tidy
- Assisting chefs and kitchen staff where required
- Following food hygiene and health & safety standards
Previous experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full support and training can be provided.
Due to the school’s rural location and limited public transport, applicants must have their own transport.
