Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Multi Skilled Operatives to join our team and contribute to a wide range of domestic Local Authority property maintenance projects. As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship across multiple disciplines, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your proactive attitude and technical expertise will be vital in supporting our ongoing construction, refurbishment, and repair initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, door hanging, and general woodwork to support construction and renovation projects
- Execute construction painting tasks to prepare surfaces and achieve professional finishes, plastering patches.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in line with safety regulations and project specifications
- Conduct masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete repairs with precision (optional)
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while adhering to health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction and maintenance environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues on-site
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and changing project requirements
