Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each person’s needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being
- Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision
- Maintain clear communication with team members, residents, clients, and their families to ensure consistent care delivery
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and efficiently
- Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments when required, ensuring safe transportation
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing needs with flexibility
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
- Valid driving license is advantageous for roles involving home visits or transportation duties
- A caring attitude combined with excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships
