Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Harvest Worker to join our agricultural team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with crop harvesting, maintaining equipment, and supporting various farm activities. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in agriculture and farm operations, contributing to the efficient and sustainable production of crops. The position involves physical labour and requires a proactive approach to ensure the smooth running of daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with crop harvesting, ensuring produce is collected efficiently and carefully.
- Tasks include; Leading Grain, Baling, Cultivating.
- Perform basic equipment repairs and routine maintenance on farm machinery and tools.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or harvested produce.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including storage of tools and equipment.
- Assist with general farm maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and productive environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in farming, or related agricultural roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Basic understanding of maintenance procedures and mechanical systems will be beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to safety standards are important for success in this role. This position provides valuable hands-on experience in agricultural operations within a supportive team environment, ideal for individuals passionate about farming, horticulture, or sustainable agriculture practices.
Pay: £14.00-£20.00 per hour
