Wessex Cancer Support is looking for a Fundraising Trustee to join our Board at a pivotal time, as demand for our free emotional and wellbeing services continues to grow.
This is a unique opportunity to use your fundraising expertise and strategic insight to help us reach more people affected by cancer across Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight.
This is an unremunerated volunteer position, and no salary or financial compensation is offered, except for reimbursement of reasonable expenses.
We’re particularly interested in someone who:
- Has executive level fundraising experience
- Understands income generation, supporter engagement and partnerships
- Can offer strategic oversight and fresh thinking to strengthen our fundraising approach
- Is passionate about making a genuine difference in their community

Application question(s):
- Are you willing and able to travel to Chandler's Ford to attend in person Board meetings four times a year and a strategy meeting once 1 year?
- Possible further attendance at 4 sub-committee (virtual) and 2 Advisory Forum (in person) meetings
during the year.
- Ad hoc events and meetings in person or virtually, and phone calls.
