Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Labourer (Casual) to join our team on a flexible basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking casual employment to contribute to various projects and tasks across our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting operational activities, assisting with manual labour, and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. Prior experience is not essential, as training will be provided, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued. This will be heavy lifting work. Experience on a construction site a must.
Duties
- Assist with general manual labour tasks across different departments or sites
- Support the movement and organisation of materials and equipment
- Help with site maintenance, including cleaning and organising work areas
- Carry out basic loading and unloading of goods or supplies
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Support team members in completing their tasks efficiently and effectively
- Perform any additional duties as required by supervisors or project needs
Requirements
- Ability to undertake manual labour tasks in various environments
- Good physical fitness and stamina to work on your feet for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours on a casual basis
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory
