Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages with precision and care
- Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions, and providing excellent service
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including counters, equipment, and seating areas
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling bagels & toasties
- Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure quality and hygiene at all times
- Manage cash register operations with basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Support team members with general duties such as restocking supplies and cleaning during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar food service role is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of food safety practices to maintain health standards
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently and accurately
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours
- Effective communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members
