We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Public Area Cleaner to join our housekeeping team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of all public spaces within the property, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all public areas including corridors, lobbies, staircases, lifts, reception areas, and restrooms
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation are consistently met
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Follow health & safety and COSHH guidelines
- Support the housekeeping team when required
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests and staff
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and reliability
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required
