We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team at our privately owned 25-bedroom country house hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest amenities
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust as required
- Report any maintenance issues or lost property promptly
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Maintain cleaning equipment and materials in good condition
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Respond to guest requests politely and promptly
Requirements:
- CANDIDATE MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.
- Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Good time management and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina – role involves bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Friendly and professional attitude.
