Job Summary

Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead, motivate, and support nursery staff to deliver exceptional childcare and early childhood education
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional development
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and well-being
- Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a cohesive team environment
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and stimulating for children at all times
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and educational programs offered
- Manage administrative tasks including record-keeping, licensing documentation, and compliance reports
Experience
- Proven management experience in a childcare or nursery setting
- Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood education or childcare roles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team of staff members
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively liaise with parents, staff, and regulatory bodies
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and licensing requirements
- Experience in developing educational activities aligned with early childhood development principles
- Valid driving license is preferred for operational flexibility within the nursery’s service area
