We’re looking for a steady, reliable 360 Excavator Driver / Quarry Operative to join the team at Cairnrobin Quarry. The role covers excavator work, screening, crushing and general quarry operations as part of a small, hands‑on crew.
Duties
- Operate 360 excavators safely for loading, digging and stockpile work
- Feed material into jaw crusher, cone crusher and screen
- Assist with screening and crushing operations throughout the day
- Load lorries with aggregates
- Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Support general quarry tasks when required
- Follow site safety rules and report issues promptly
- Work with weighbridge and site staff to keep operations running smoothly
Requirements
- Experience operating 360 excavators
- Experience with crushing and screening plant preferred
- Valid CPCS/NPORS ticket
- Good awareness of site safety
- Reliable, practical and able to work independently
- Willing to help with general quarry duties when needed
