Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is integral to supporting the restaurant's daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring excellent customer service. Duties
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Handle customer enquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in administrative tasks such as inventory management, reporting, and record keeping
- Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities and fostering a positive team environment
Qualifications
- Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or related sectors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual skills are advantageous
- Experience in sales management, merchandising, and administrative duties
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications
- Previous experience in retail management or similar roles is preferred
- Professional demeanour with strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
