Lifting Branch Manager
Lifting Gear & Safety is a company specialising in the field of lifting and marine safety equipment. We hire, sell, and service products from nine locations across the country, all of which are backed up by a team of motivated and talented people. We actively promote the principles of being ‘family run’ with a progressive outlook on development. We currently have a vacancy in our Fareham depot for a Depot Manager and are looking for someone with the drive and energy to build on an already successful business. The manager will of course wear several hats and therefore a mix of skills will be needed. Care of staff is a high priority for us and people skills are important. Other needs include :
A business development mindset with commercial acumen.
An ability to problem solve and prioritise workload
Communication and organisational skills
Control of Health and Safety issues
Responsibility for performance to budget
Ensuring that we maintain and deliver the culture of customer service
To develop the skill sets of branch members by encouragement and training
Knowledge and experience of our industry would be a great help but not essential. Our preference is for the right individual with the right attitude for whom we would provide training in all departments from matters technical to company IT systems.
