Production Team Member – Join Our Ice Cream Family!
Do you love ice cream? We're an award-winning ice cream maker based outside Dorchester, and we're looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our production team at our HQ in Rampisham.
What you'll be doing
No two days are quite the same in our kitchen. You'll get stuck into every part of the ice cream making process, from weighing ingredients and puréeing fruit to potting and labelling our finished tubs. You'll also help keep our kitchen, utensils and machinery spotless.
What we're looking for
Previous experience in food production is a bonus, but it's not essential; we'll give you all the training you need, including in-house and online sessions to gain your Food Safety and Hygiene certificate. What matters most to us is your attitude: we're after someone hard-working with a can-do spirit and a friendly disposition who'll fit right in with our cheerful team.
You'll need to be a good team player who's just as comfortable working independently, careful at following recipes precisely, and able to work efficiently while keeping things clean and tidy.
Hours and pay
You'll typically be working Monday to Friday, roughly 8am to 4pm, though these hours can shift a little depending on the time of year. You may be asked to work at Saturday or two in the peak season, but you will be given a day off in lieu. The pay shown is indicative and will depend on your experience.
Location
You'll be based in our kitchen at Rampisham Business Centre, Rampisham Down, DT2 0HS, outside Dorchester. Please note: you'll need your own transport to get here, as there's no public transport to the site.
