Are you driven by data and passionate about insights? We are a leading global market research company, enabling organisations to make smarter, bolder, and faster decisions.
Strategy3 is Ipsos’ in-house consultancy. Our purpose is to help global clients identify and capture growth opportunities.
Our work is delivered across three strategic practices: corporate, brand and innovation. We approach every challenge with an eye to the cultural and future context, meaning our recommendations are more actionable and more impactful for our clients.
We’re a small team of 30, but we work with some of the world’s most recognisable logos in FMCG, financial services, tech and consumer health.
As a graduate in the team you will contribute directly to client strategies, influencing which areas of the market they target, what products and services they take to market and how their brands show up in the world.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the team to deliver our client engagements.
Under the direction of senior members of the team:
- Taking complex, messy information and data and synthesise these into concise insight and foresight.
- Help conduct and analyse expert and stakeholder interviews
- Carrying out desk research, drawing on Ipsos’ extensive data assets and looking out into the world for relevant information to develop our thinking
- Developing a strong understanding of our clients’ business challenges and goals and creating analyses that answer their key questions
- Attending internal analysis sessions and help to develop narratives
- Attend debriefs and workshops with clients (sometimes overseas), providing support to facilitate the smooth running of the sessions
- Contributing to the writing of proposals by sourcing relevant information and providing perspectives
- Connecting with people from across the broader Ipsos community (locally and globally)
- Building project plans, create timelines, and developing your project management skillset
We encourage diversity of thought so we look for candidates who are as diverse as the societies, markets and people we work with. Therefore the essential skills we are looking for are:
- An analytical and problem-solving mindset, focused on not only interpreting data but also understanding what it means in relation to business challenges
- Effective communication and storytelling skills, the ability to apply critical thinking to a challenge and build narratives that connect the dots between different sources of information.
- Commercial awareness and client-focused mindset, with a genuine passion in understanding client needs and delivering impactful, value-driven solutions.
- A curiosity and learning agility that fosters exploration of new ideas and openness to understanding changing trends.
- Creativity and innovation to think outside the box and bring fresh, impactful ideas to life.
- Embraces collaboration and teamwork, working effectively with others and valuing diverse perspectives to build on colleagues' strengths.
- Strong organisational and attention to detail skills, with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in every task.
- A focus on self-awareness and a growth mindset, driven to succeed and make a real impact, with a willingness to reflect, learn, and grow.
- An aptitude for leveraging AI tools and techniques to enhance research and insights, in line with Ipsos' standards and policies.
- An interest in brand, markets, innovation, culture and society.
