School Evening and Lettings Caretaker – Oldfield Park Junior School
Permanent | Term Time Only | Evenings – Various times totalling 2.5 hours per week (30 mins per day) | 39 weeks
Grade 2: £25,185 FTE

This role requires opening and closing of a school site.
This role requires, primarily, closing of Oldfield Park Junior School at various times during the week. It will be 30 minutes per day.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in creating a safe, secure, and inspiring learning environment for pupils, staff, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
As School Caretaker, you will:

Ensure the security, safety, and general upkeep of school buildings and grounds
- Close OPJ every evening – times vary due to lettings.
- Be available for opening/closing weekend lettings.
- Share responsibility and be on call for the alarm system.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

- Professional, reliable, and committed to high standards
- Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
