Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update tailored care plans to meet each resident’s individual needs and preferences
- Supervise and support care staff, fostering a positive team environment with clear guidance and leadership
- Coordinate daily care activities, ensuring smooth operations within the care home or senior care setting
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to ensure transparency and collaboration
- Maintain accurate documentation related to care plans, incident reports, and progress notes using IT systems
- Support staff training and supervise adherence to health and safety standards
- Drive the safe transportation of residents when needed, utilizing your driving skills to support outings or appointments
Skills
- Proven experience supervising or leading care teams within senior or residential care environments
- Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs
- Valid driving license with reliable driving skills for transportation duties
- Familiarity with IT systems used for documentation and care management
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within care settings
- Experience working in a care home or senior care environment is highly desirable
