Andrew Cane Refrigeration & Air conditioning are based in Newton Abbot, covering Devon and Cornwall. We are currently looking for a new employee to assist in the servicing, installation and maintenance of all aspects of the commercial sector. This will include routine servicing and installation of refrigeration equipment and air conditioning, cold rooms, and preventive maintenance activities. Experience in fault finding of bespoke projects would be beneficial but not essential.
Job Requirements
- Must have a broad technical knowledge and skill required when working on the following areas: refrigeration, air conditioning, cold rooms and a good depth of electrical wiring knowledge.
- Possesses the technical competencies and certificates relevant to the skill set and grade which must include safe handling of refrigerant in accordance with the C&G 2079 Refrigerant handling.
- Communicating information between all members of the company efficiently.
- Efficient repair of equipment breakdowns.
- Updating service records, F-gas logs and servicing clients equipment.
- Commissioning of new and reconditioned equipment.
- Working using safe systems of work. Eg. MEWPS, scaffolding.
- Full UK driving Licence.
Working hours
- 40hrs basic week to maintain a work life balance
- Monday - Friday
- Occasional overtime which can increase over busy periods.
- There can be occasional on call work when covering holidays.
Location
- Mobile - within Devon and Cornwall.
Vehicle entitlement
- A company vehicle will be provided as appropriate to the role.
- Vehicle will be equipped will specialised tooling.
Salary – Starting salary of £38K - £40K dependent on experience.
The position is subject to a 3 month probationary period.
