Busy Engineering Firm in Essex specialising in engine component machining and engine re-manufacture need a computer-literate, customer service admin / job progress manager, dealing with customer's requirements, ordering and inputting Parts, ideally with some engine building, parts, machining or general engineering experience, process training will be given to the correct candidate. A strong grasp of Computer literacy is imperative.
Your duties will include customer inquiries in person, via email and over the phone, so some knowledge of engines/machining would be a requirement, booking-in jobs, parts sourcing, cross referencing & ordering, entering onto our stock control/invoicing system, managing our stock level & keeping the stoclose controlled, computer use is essential. A keen eye for detail, strong grasp of English / Grammar and good standard of presentation required.
