We are looking for a WOOD ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE to join our client on a temporary on-going basis. For the right candidate this could lead to a permanent position at the client’s discretion. You must have your own transport due to rural location.
This is an entry-level position into assembly / manufacturing / production.
· Placing timber components into jigs.
- Placing steel connector plates quickly and accurately at pressing points.
- Assist in the nailing of girder trusses.
- Assist in handling and safe stacking of completed work from jigs to trolleys.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
You will be:
- Physically strong
- Reliable and hard-working
- Confident to work in busy production environments
What we need from you:
- CV showing previous manual labour experience within CV
- Passport OR Birth Certificate with National Insurance proof
