Pest Control Technician
Salary: £26,436 – £40,000+ per year
About the Role
P&P Pest Control Ltd is a well-established, family-run pest control company based near Crickhowell, covering domestic and commercial customers throughout South Wales and beyond.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Pest Control Technician to join our team.
Previous pest control experience is welcomed but is not essential. We are happy to fully train the right person and support them through their industry qualifications, including RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management.
This is a permanent, full-time position with genuine opportunities to progress within the company, including progression to experienced and Senior Technician roles.
The Role
The role is varied, with the majority of your working day spent out on the road managing your own workload and dealing directly with our customers.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out pest control inspections and treatments at domestic and commercial properties
- Identifying pest activity, possible causes and entry points
- Providing customers with practical advice and recommendations
- Completing treatment and service reports
- Managing your own daily workload and customer appointments
- Working in accordance with industry standards and health & safety requirements
- Taking part in our paid weekend/on-call rota once fully trained

Previous pest control experience and an RSPH Level 2 qualification would be an advantage, but we're equally interested in applicants looking to start a new career within the industry.
A full UK driving licence is required.
Salary & Progression
£26,436 – £42,000+ per year depending on experience, qualifications and progression.
Starting salary for an unqualified trainee is £26,436.84 per annum, increasing following successful completion of RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management.
Further salary progression is available as you gain experience, with opportunities to progress to Senior Technician level.
Additional earning opportunities are available through bonus, weekend/on-call work, overtime and commission.

Working Hours
This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily Monday to Friday.
Additional overtime may also be available.
