- Joinery Work: Perform a wide range of joinery tasks, including but not limited to, framing, door/window installation, flooring, cabinetry, and custom woodwork.
- Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and shape various materials, such as wood, MDF, and other construction materials, as needed for the project.
- Installation: Install doors, windows, trim, cabinets, and other joinery components accurately and efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all joinery work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations for quality and finish.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with the project manager, team members to ensure seamless project coordination.
- Client Interaction: Interact professionally with clients when required, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the joinery work.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges related to joinery work promptly and effectively.
- Tools and Equipment: Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery relevant to joinery work.
Requirements:
- Must be a fully time-served joiner with a high standard of workmanship and a commitment to quality finishes.
- Proficiency in all aspects of joinery work, from 1st fit to final finish and kitchen fitting, with the ability to coordinate apprentices.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a solid understanding of the building industry.
- Actively contribute to problem-solving and participate in improvement planning
- Must have a valid full driving license and possess necessary carpentry tools.
- Possess physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour.
