Event Operations Manager
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join us on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing our operations at events, ensuring our plans are delivered to a high standard
- Setting up event sites and car parks, including the hands-on installation of signage, cones and barriers
- Leading and supporting our workforce, ensuring they are properly briefed and looked after
- Preparing operational plans, briefing documents and traffic plans, including CAD drawings
- Conducting risk assessments and preparing method statements
- Building a strong rapport with clients and stakeholders, including managing enquiries, client accounts and preparing quotes
- Driving company vehicles to transport equipment safely to and from event sites

Highbury (N5) on designated office days and on-site at various event locations within Greater London. There will be occasional travel required to events outside of London.

Working Hours
The candidate will need to be flexible to work as required operationally to support on site at events. The working pattern will regularly involve weekends, evenings and shifts ranging from 12-16 hours.
Travel and Accommodation
Candidates must be able to travel to and from event sites within Greater London. Travel and accommodation will be provided for jobs located outside of London only.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates must:
- Be passionate about events
- Have experience in event management and working with crowds
- Have experience managing large teams of casual staff
- Have an interest in event traffic, transport and pedestrian management
- Be over the age of 25, with a valid UK driving licence and no more than 3 penalty points
- Be able to drive a company van, and keep the van overnight between assignments
- Be able to reliably commute to event sites located within Greater London
- Be willing to work weekends and long hours
- Have an understanding of health and safety procedures. A safety qualification is preferable but not essential
- Be a strong communicator and proficient in the use of MS Office and Google Docs
