Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients across a variety of settings, including clinics, nursing homes, and home care environments. Duties
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and assess patient health status
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Provide specialised care in areas such as senior care, hospice, or home care as required
- Collaborate with specialists in fields such as medical imaging, ICU, or public health for comprehensive patient management
- Engage in clinical research initiatives to support evidence-based practice
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts to optimise patient care
- Stay updated with advancements in medical sciences, anatomy knowledge, and healthcare protocols
Requirements
- Fully qualified Medical Degree recognised within the UK or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a valid licence to practise
- Proven experience in general practice, with additional experience in ICU, nursing home, or senior care highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and medication administration procedures
- Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and clinical research methodologies
- Experience delivering public health initiatives or hospice care is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient groups
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a healthcare team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards

Pay: £42.00-£52.00 per hour
