Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous janitorial experience to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
- Disinfect surfaces and fixtures in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed
- Handle waste disposal efficiently and responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any faults or damages
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving equipment or supplies when necessary
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is advantageous
This position is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in creating clean, hygienic environments. Prior experience in janitorial services will be considered an asset, but training will be provided where necessary.
Pay: £12.71-£13.72 per hour
