This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful Society Faculty, delivering engaging and industry-relevant Health and Social Care programmes that prepare learners for careers within the health, social care and wider public service sectors. You'll work with ambitious learners across Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, with opportunities to contribute to Higher Education provision for the right candidate..
What you'll do:
- Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care programmes
- Inspire learners to develop the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours needed for careers within the health and care sector
- Create engaging learning experiences that reflect current industry practice and emerging sector developments
- Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback and support achievement
- Develop learning resources and contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
- Build links with employers and external organisations to enhance learner experiences and opportunities
- Support educational visits, employer engagement and enrichment activities that bring learning to life
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding learner experience and support progression into employment or Higher Education
What we're looking for:
- A qualification in Health and Social Care or a related subject
- Current or previous industry experience within the health, care or related sectors
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Experience teaching, training or mentoring learners in an educational or workplace setting
- Strong knowledge of current Health and Social Care practice and legislation
- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners from a range of backgrounds
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
