Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role involves working with metal components to create high-quality products that meet our specifications and standards. The successful applicant will demonstrate mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and stick welding on various metal materials, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.
- Fabricate components from steel, including cutting, shaping, and assembling parts as required.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for the assembly and fabrication of metal structures.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any fabrication issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety regulations.
- Operate Fork Lift
- Clean driving licence
Experience
- Proven experience in welding, specifically MIG and stick welding techniques.
- Strong fabrication skills with hands-on experience in working with steel.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding complex assembly processes.
