Duties

- Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicle systems including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently.
- Follow detailed repair procedures and safety protocols to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks and equipment repair projects that require physical strength and technical skill.
- Maintain accurate service records, update maintenance logs, and communicate repair progress clearly to team members and customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive repair role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and equipment repair methods.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities.
- Certifications related to automotive repair or technical training are preferred but not mandatory; ongoing training is encouraged.
