Essential Qualifications:
- Educational Excellence: Hold a teaching qualification or boast substantial tutoring experience.
- Academic Proficiency: Possess a degree or be in the final stages of your undergraduate journey with tutoring experience.
- Subject Mastery: Demonstrate strong expertise in KS3, GCSE, and ideally one or more AS/A-level Sciences like Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
- Specialist Insight: Understand the overarching requisites for your designated science area, whether KS3, GCSE, or any A-level science.
- Exam Know-how: Grasp exam board specifics for GCSE and preferably AS/A-level Science subjects.
- Effective Communicator: Convey ideas with clarity and engagement.
- Organised and Reliable: Be flexible, punctual, and organised in your approach.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in science subjects, including GCSE and A Level curriculum.
- Develop personalised lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs and styles.
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment to enhance student understanding and interest in science.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents to track progress and address any concerns.
- Utilise various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning abilities, including those with special education needs.

We’re excited to offer new tutoring opportunities for the upcoming academic year.
We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who can commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week, with flexible availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and/or weekday evenings.
Key Dates:
- Tutor Interviews: Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th, or Wednesday 26th August 2026
- Tutor Induction: Successful applicants can attend an induction session on Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th, or Wednesday 26th August 2026, from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The induction date will be confirmed following the interview.
