Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable class 1 HGV tipper driver to join Family run firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting aggregate efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and a strong commitment to customer service. The position involves loading/ unloading and operating tipper lorries and requires adherence to all relevant road safety regulations.
This would be Day work
Usually Monday- Friday, very occasional Saturday.
Driver would have their own lorry and would be expected to look after it and wash off.
Rates of pay would be reflected on experience can be Day rate/ Hourly Rate- weekly or monthly pay.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate tipper lorries to transport goods to various locations in a timely manner
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Load and secure cargo appropriately, ensuring its safety during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during transit
- Comply with all legal requirements related to commercial driving and transportation regulations
Experience
- Proven experience as a tipper driver including loading and unloading
- knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK
- A valid UK driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles- Ideally a clean licence
- Ideally have MPQC.
