Reporting to the Customer Operations Manager, the Sales Support Executive will form part of Lazer's Sales Team and provide day-to-day support to our customers and Field Sales Managers.
The primary responsibilities of the role include processing customer orders and responding to customer enquiries received by telephone, email and online channels, ensuring customers receive a prompt, professional and accurate service from initial enquiry through to dispatch and aftercare.
This is a hands-on role, with approximately 80% of the role being desk-based and 20% involving interaction with the warehouse and wider operational teams.
· Handle customer orders received by telephone, email and online channels, managing them accurately through to dispatch.
· Process customer orders using our Sales and Inventory Management system, Unleashed, and prepare the required shipping documentation and labels.
· Provide day-to-day administrative and customer support to the Field Sales Managers.
· Act as a key point of contact for customer service enquiries.
· Take ownership of customer issues and work with relevant internal teams to ensure they are resolved promptly and professionally.
· Ensure customers receive clear, accurate and timely communication throughout the order process.
· Follow up with customers to ensure queries are fully resolved and any aftercare requirements are dealt with promptly.
· Respond to customer questions regarding Lazer products by telephone, email, onsite and, when required, at trade shows.
· Support stock-taking activities, with particular responsibility for accessories.
· Compile, analyse and format sales data for the Sales & Marketing Director to support business planning and decision-making.
·Work closely with the Sales, Warehouse and wider operational teams to ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
· Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, order processing or similar environment.
· Experience of building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, with Excel proficiency essential.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· A professional and confident telephone manner.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload.
· Ability to learn new products, customers and systems quickly.
· Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
· Ability to remain professional and solution-focused when dealing with customer queries or problems.
· Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
· Previous sales or marketing experience, ideally within a B2B environment.
· Experience of handling challenging customer situations and resolving complaints.
· Experience using sales, CRM, ERP or inventory-management systems.
· An interest in the automotive, manufacturing or engineering sectors.
