Job Title: Experienced Vehicle Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to contribute to our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including MOT testing, servicing, general maintenance and repairs, diagnostics, and specialised tasks such as cambelts and clutches. The successful candidate must hold an MOT tester certification, possess a valid UK driving licence, and have their own tools.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
MOT Testing:
- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of test results.
Servicing and Maintenance:
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles.
- Address general repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, tyres, exhausts, and batteries.
Diagnostics and Specialised Repairs:
- Utilise diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Execute specialised repairs, including cambelts, clutches, engine repairs, and electrical repairs.
Qualifications:
- MOT tester certification is mandatory.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence.
- Own a comprehensive set of automotive tools.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Performance-related bonus up to £10,000 per annum
- No weekend work
- Closed on all Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year
- Up to 33 days paid holiday (dependent on time serviced)
