Job Overview
We are looking to employee an Architectural Technologist or Architectural BIM Technician, to be responsible for delivering value to our clients, by working as part of a value-driven team that completes architectural projects on time, on budget and to the highest quality. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a leading architectural practice in Lincoln on a variety of projects and sectors from multi-million-pound care homes, the Yorkshire Ambulance Service and with charities such as LEAP and the YMCA.
- Produce high-quality, tender & construction drawings, details, schedules and specifications.
- Assist in the production of 3D modelling using Autodesk Revit.
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards and liaise with Building Control.
- Opportunity to work across all the RIBA Workstage’s.
- Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory application procedure.
- Overseeing the planning process post planning approval i.e. discharge of conditions.
- Attend site meetings (if/where required) and provide technical support during the construction phase of the projects.
- Assist in the compliance of meeting ISO standards, including ISO 19650.
- Supporting in general duties within the office.
Skills
- Knowledge of Autodesk software, AutoCAD & Revit is essential.
- Experience of BIM and the process is preferred.
- Knowledge of NBS Chorus advantageous.
- Good technical knowledge, design, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge and experience of the RIBA work stages.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- A good communicator and can work well, collaborating with the team and project stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Recap and Navisworks is advantageous.
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
