We're looking for a reliable and experienced Pharmacy Dispenser or Accuracy Checking Dispenser to join our close-knit team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient dispensing, supporting the pharmacist, and delivering a consistently excellent patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and label prescriptions in line with legal and professional standards
- Deliver outstanding service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Assist with stock management and ordering processes
- Perform accurate data entry for prescriptions and both NHS and private services
- Maintain a clean, well-organised, and compliant dispensary
- Support day-to-day pharmacy operations as needed
Working Hours
- 32 to 40 hours per week
- Flexibility required; working pattern to be agreed during the hiring process
Holiday Entitlement
- 5.8 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays (pro rata)
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmacy dispensing role
- Confident and efficient in using computers, with strong data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage workload under pressure
