Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. Previous restaurant experience and a good understanding of food safety standards are preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with company standards and customer preferences
- Greet guests warmly and take orders efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Ensure all drinks are prepared accurately and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations, including handling payments accurately using basic maths skills
- Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels
- Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience
- Adhere to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Good organisational skills with effective time management to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests
- Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and friendliness
