Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef/cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor ingredient quality and manage stock levels efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service
- Adhere to food safety protocols at all times, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
Pay: From £13.10 per hour
