Job Summary
Due to the growth of our residential care provision across two dedicated homes, we are seeking experienced, passionate, and driven Registered Manager's to lead our 2bed and 3bed EBD services.
Whether you are an established Registered Manager looking for a well-supported provider, or a skilled Deputy Manager ready for full registration, we offer the autonomy, resources, and operational backing to help your home achieve an "Outstanding" Ofsted rating.
The Role
- Lead the day-to-day operations of a small-occupancy therapeutic home for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
- Maintain strict adherence to the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards.
- Build, mentor, and retain a resilient, trauma-informed residential staff team through regular supervision, appraisal, and development.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary agencies, local authorities, social workers, and families to deliver tailored, child-centred care plans.
- Manage the home’s budget, staff rotas, admissions, and quality assurance audits alongside the Responsible Individual.
Requirements
Qualifications: Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential care for children and young people.
Desirable:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential care for children and young people (or equivalent/working towards completion) or willing to enroll
Experience: At least 2 years’ recent experience in a residential children’s home setting at Deputy Manager or Registered Manager level.
Knowledge: Thorough working knowledge of the Ofsted regulatory inspection framework and child safeguarding protocols.
Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
Vetting: Enhanced DBS check (costs covered by company).
