Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Trade Plate Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles efficiently and safely using trade plates, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate trade plate vehicles to transport cars between locations, including dealerships, storage facilities, and clients.
- Ensure all vehicles are secured properly during transit and adhere to traffic laws at all times.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys to identify any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, vehicle conditions, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding schedules and delivery updates.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles when necessary, including heavy lifting if required.
- Follow company policies on safety procedures and road regulations to ensure safe transportation at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role, preferably within commercial driving environments.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, demonstrating safe and efficient vehicle operation.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and vehicle logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, maintaining proper safety techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Organised with good time management skills to meet tight schedules consistently.
