To be responsible for finance functions including logging of invoices, ordering and receipting where required.
To be responsible for estates and facilities issues within the directorate and ensuring timely resolutions.
To support and promote team working and have a clear understanding of the aims of the service.
Communicate clearly and effectively at all times with patients as well as with clinicians and operational teams to ensure a smooth and effective process for patients and staff.
Ensure all patient data is entered correctly into Cerner taking care to update any missing information
Ensure Trust’s targets are met
To work with other teams so that services are provided in a way that meets the needs of the patient
To scan clinic/GP correspondences onto EPR
To produce leaflets/labels as and when needed
To ensure solicitor requests are dealt with in a timely manner
To be flexible and cover colleagues roles as and when required
To define accuracy of timesheets inputted on the 247 system to ensure accurate financial charges for locum usage
To cover reception duties as and when required
To ensure timesheets for Bank staff are completed in a timely manner on to Health Roster
Manage and maintain agency requests/bookings and locum database for the service.
To maintain and adhere to confidentiality and data protection protocols and policies
To undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis from activities, identify trends and high light areas of good practice as well as concerns, working with colleagues to agree actions that aim to enhance standards
To maintain the integrity of information using agreed methods and procedures
To collate, interpret and manipulate data collated and highlight areas requiring further analysis and investigation.
To compile procedures for own area of work, including proposing and drafting any areas for change which may impact beyond own area of work
To ensure compliance with NHS, Trust and local departmental policies as an individual.
To contribute to discussions on policy and service development and comment on proposed changes as required both within own role and those which may impact beyond own area of activity
To work on any Trust site as required
To maintain a flexible attitude to possible changes in job content and undertake any other duties as are reasonably required to ensure the smooth running of the department
To possess advanced IT skills in MS Access, Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint and have a working knowledge of PAS system
The post holder requires high levels of concentration as they deal with heavy demands for a variety of sources
Likely to experience frequent and unpredictable interruption due to the operational nature of the post
