Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Weekend Pizza Chef to join our team starting from September 2026. Fridays and Saturdays evenings and occasionally Thursdays and Sundays will depend on business demand. This role is ideal for individuals with a flair for culinary arts, particularly in pizza making, who enjoy working in a vibrant kitchen environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas, ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation, and delivering excellent service to our customers during weekend shifts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills within a dynamic restaurant setting. Interviews and trial shifts will be in August 2026.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the pizza station to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
- Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Manage ingredient stock levels, restock supplies as needed, and report any shortages or issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including surfaces, utensils, and equipment, throughout the shift.
- Support team members in meal preparation and other kitchen duties as required.
- Serve customers at the counter or via table service, providing friendly and professional assistance.
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
- Previous experience working with pizza or in a fast-paced kitchen is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy weekend shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends consistently from September 2026 onwards.

Pay: £14.00-£15.50 per hour
