Role Overview
This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of our workshop and yard. Reporting to the Head of Workshop & Logistics, you'll play an important part in keeping the workshop safe, clean and organised while assisting with the movement of materials, loading and unloading vehicles, and supporting the team wherever required.
The role involves manual handling, preparing workspaces, moving materials, and working both in the workshop and on-site as part of a busy team.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop and yard.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Move materials, equipment and scenery safely around the workshop and site.
- Prepare work areas and materials to support project delivery.
- Organise and monitor stock and storage areas.
- Carry out general workshop maintenance and housekeeping.
- Support the Head of Workshop & Logistics and workshop team with day-to-day operational tasks.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain safe working practices.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to support the smooth running of projects.
- Occasionally travel to site to assist with installations and de-rigs.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in a labouring, workshop, construction or similar practical environment.
- Able to carry out the manual handling and practical duties required for the role, with reasonable adjustments where appropriate.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work to deadlines.
- A proactive approach and willingness to support the wider team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A strong awareness of health and safety.

Pay: £12.21-£12.71 per hour
