Lewis Tank Transport is an established and growing specialist liquid bulk transport company, headquartered in Snaith near Goole and with a further sizeable base in Immingham.
Established in 2007, we have built our reputation on high standards, reliability and exceptional customer service. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Drivers to join our team, transporting liquid bulk products in tank containers.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional driver looking for a secure, long-term position with a specialist transport operator.
The Role
As a Class 1 ADR Tank Container Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection, transport and delivery of liquid bulk products in tank containers.
The role will involve:
- Collecting and delivering tank containers to customers and terminals.
- Carrying out vehicle and trailer safety checks.
- Ensuring tank containers and loads are transported safely and securely.
- Completing all required transport and delivery documentation.
- Complying with ADR, Drivers' Hours, Working Time and other relevant legislation.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Working safely and responsibly at all times.
- Regular overnight stays away from base.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for professional Class 1 drivers who take pride in their work and have a strong safety record.
Essential:
- Valid LGV/HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Minimum 12 months' experience driving Class 1 vehicles in liquid bulk transport.
- Driver CPC qualification.
- Good driving record and a professional attitude.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work away from base overnight.
Desirable:
- ADR qualification, including relevant tanker entitlement.
- Previous experience transporting liquid bulk in tank containers.
- Experience loading and delivering tank containers.
- Experience working from ports, terminals or industrial sites.
We recognise that finding experienced tank container drivers can be difficult. Full training can be provided for the right candidate where appropriate.

- £58,000 – £63,000 per year earning potential.
